I don't know what this face shield/helmet/mask is, someone please help identify it.

I believe the painting is of Wainscott Pond on Long Island by artist Terry Elkins (see terryelkins.com/?p=663) but I haven't seen the exact painting so I'm not certain.

This image is tagged as containing ballot scanners but I don't know if that's right.

Not 100% sure that the lower pin is Kurdish, but it does seem to have a solid gold starburst in the middle, looks closer than mid-20th century Hungarian flags to me.

The green pin is more visible in the higher resolution image loguesearch.com/image/36…. I think it's a "Kekistani" flag.

Background photo is "Buddhist Temple located around the beautiful Himalayas at Mustang" I think in Muktinath. commons.wikimedia.org/wi… I have visited on the Annapurna Circuit, met an old botanist who gave me an apple and said nasty things about the government. Drank a "Mustang coffee," hot white wine with instant coffee. Do not recommend.
